Creek Club at Reynolds Plantation Open for Members

The fifth course at Reynolds Plantation in Greensboro, Ga., officially debuted June 1, welcoming members and their guests to the Jim Engh design.

The Creek Club at Reynolds Plantation is a contemporary layout with features like signature rolling bunkers, Zoysia grass fairways and tributaries of Richland Creek, whose waters come into play on 14 holes. These holes demand forced carries on eight holes, either off the tee or from the fairway. The four sets of tees can alter holes by as much as 160 yards, ensuring a tough but fair challenge for everyone on this 7,079-yard, par-72 layout.

The unique 18th hole offers three separate greens, all next to a new clubhouse, which will contain a "crow's nest" restaurant. For now, players visit the temporary pro shop in the rustic Creek Club, until the clubhouse opens in mid-2007.
