Landscapes Golf Group Partners with Kearney Country Club
Landscapes Golf Group, a division of Landscapes Unlimited based in Lincoln, Neb., will provide management services for Kearney Country Club beginning in January 2010.
"We are excited about the opportunity," said Tom Everett, director of operations for LGG. "This project held a number of similarities that we have gone through at other regional locations in our portfolio, and we believe we can start making a difference immediately."
When it opened in 1918, Kearney Country Club featured nine holes, buffalo grass fairways and tees, and sand greens. Through its evolution, the club has undergone numerous improvements. Today, it offers 18 holes, a full-service clubhouse, and swimming facilities.
"Having Landscapes Golf Group involved with our club will provide us with the resources and experience we need to get to the next level," said Lucas Dart, board president of Kearney Country Club.
Founded in 1976, Landscapes Unlimited is an industry leader with over 1,000 completed projects in the areas of golf course construction, renovation, and recreational development.
