New Jersey's Apple Ridge Country Club Gets New Ownership

Bergen County's Apple Ridge Country Club has is now under new ownership. Fairway Advisors represented the seller, Clinton D. Carlough Properties L.P., in the transaction of the facility in northern New Jersey. Terms of the sale were not disclosed.

Jeff Davis, president of Fairway Advisors, said of the deal: "Apple Ridge features unobstructed views of the Manhattan skyline and was designed by Hal C. Purdy in 1966.

"Situated in Bergen County, the 18-hole, par-71 golf course recently went through a significant renovation project that included new bunkers throughout the course and additional tee space to add length to the course. The new owner has a turnkey facility with some of the best demographics in the country."

Apple Ridge will be managed by KemperSports of Northbrook, Ill. "Apple Ridge Country Club has a strong history and membership," said KemperSports CEO Steve Skinner. "We look forward to working with the Apple Ridge team to enhance the membership offerings and amenities and deliver a great member and guest experience."

KemperSports will use its expertise to improve membership marketing and enhance customer service and food and beverage operations.
