Sumner Meadows Golf Links

This 18-hole links-style layout lies in Sumner, a small city located east of Tacoma. The city of Sumner owns the course, which is operated by Golf Resources Northwest. Opened in 1995, Sumner Meadows was designed by John Harbottle and Lynn Horn. Harbottle also designed the award-winning Olympic course at the Gold Mountain Golf Complex in Bremerton.

Sumner Meadows is an enjoyable course that crosses generally flat ground alongside the White Stuck River. Water enters play on many holes, and the slick putting surfaces are well-bunkered. From the tips the par-72 course stretches 6,801 yards where it boasts a 71.5 ratings and 122 slope. In addition to a well-conditioned course, golfers have access to a clubhouse with food and beverage service, a grass-teed practice facility and full instructional programs.
