Tri-Mountain Golf Course
This 18-hole course lies just east of Interstate 5 north of Ridgefield and approximately 11 miles north of Vancouver, Washington. The links-like layout, designed by Bill Robinson, boasts a wide variety of hazards to challenge any golfer.
Owned by Clark County, the facility, which was recently appended with a spacious clubhouse that contains full food and beverage services, and has room for banquets and post-tournament celebrations. Also on hand are an “aquatic” driving range – where practicing players hit into a natural lake, and an 18-hole, natural-grass putting course.
The regulation, par-72 course crosses generally flat terrain dotted with over 80 sand bunkers and nearly a dozen water hazards. Water is particularly a concern, as 11 lakes enter play on 12 holes, looming alongside greens and penetrating target zones off tees. From the tips, Tri-Mountain measures 6,580 yards where it’s rated 71.4 with a slope of 124. Three other sets of tees help make the course adaptable for golfers of all skill levels.
